A warm welcome to Mave Mason!
I started immersing myself in the world of Dark Ages ("DA") 18 years ago, back then things were simple and the game was filled with a lively vibe.
DA is the only Massive Multiplayer Online Roleplaying Game ("MMORPG") in the entire world that allows its players to run the show (example: politics, religion and etc.).
Unfortunately, things have changed drastically today. A number of factors have contributed to the game's decline:
1. Bad Management
2. Competition
3. Gamers' Expectations
For me, I do not want to see my childhood game vanish from the face of this Earth. However, I am unable to change bad management, stop competition and hypnotize gamers to lower their expectations to meet the DA level. What I can do is to bring fresh air into the community and I hope to have your support.
On the note of wanting to make a positive impact, Mave Mason was born. MaveMason.com is a forum dedicated to reignite life back into DA. People can discuss about general matters, take part in Mave Mason sponsored events, win attractive prizes, find in-game knowledge and be updated with the latest DA news. This forum was put together by a group of intelligent like-minded people with the same vision - special thanks to them for believing in this cause and wanting to make the world a better place.
